Local Planning Successes

Malcolm Scott Consultants successfully obtain various Permissions and Consents

In December 2011, Malcolm Scott Consultants gained Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for adaptations to a Grade II listed barn, near Tewkesbury, Worcestershire.  The local planning authority agreed the works were necessary for the continued occupation of modern day living and the specific requirements of our client.

During November 2011, Malcolm Scott Consultants successfully gained Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent (in part retrospective) for various alterations to a Grade II listed building in Cropthorne, Worcestershire.  This involved initially staving off enforcement action and the submission of various applications to regularise alterations made at the property, and amend restrictive conditions on existing consents at the dwelling. 

Also during November 2011, Malcolm Scott Consultants successfully gained Planning Permission for the expansion of an Authorised Waste Treatment Plant in Malvern, Worcestershire, and gained Advertisement Consent for two illuminated boards on the Isle of Wight.

In October 2011, Malcolm Scott Consultants successfully assisted the progression of a Lawful Development Certificate for a Proposed MOT Testing Station in Worcester.  The work involved aiding the preparation of the documents required by the local planning authority and assisting with application discussions. 

Earlier in 2011, Malcolm Scott Consultants aided the Representation against a proposed residential application in Malvern, Worcestershire, which helped residents get the application refused and the scheme redesigned.
