Planning Successes in the West Midlands!

Malcolm Scotts Obtain Retrospective Listed Building Consent, Consent for Residential Development, and Removal of Restrictive Condition

Malcolm Scott Consultants have been successful in removing an agricultural occupancy condition and an accompanying Section 52 Agreement which restricted the dwelling to be used for agricultural purposes, and in removing the requirement for the house to remain attached to the business.

In June, Malcolm Scott Consultants helped obtain planning consent for residential development in the City of Worcester by scrutinising Conservation Area policies, and working constructively with Development Control Officers to secure suitable design proposals.  The original application was withdrawn, and Malcolm Scott Consultants assisted with the resubmission, analysing the significant aspects of the Conservation Area, how and why it was designated, and what impact the application development would have.

Back in May, Malcolm Scott Consultants gained retrospective Listed Building Consent for a farmhouse in Stoulton, Worcestershire.  Work to a Listed Building does not become lawful with the passage of time.  Therefore we were pleased to assist in regularising unauthorised works.
