Andrew has been involved with rural retail and catering businesses for over 20 years.
Andrew said, “I am delighted to have been elected to the council and I am really looking forward to supporting the FRA and all its members. Having sat on an Association Board previously I am completely aware of the commitment needed and the trust and faith put upon me. I feel so lucky and proud to be part of such a fantastic association and industry.
“Here at Malcolm Scott Consultants we have more than thirty years’ experience in providing expert advice for business development and town planning. We are dedicated to giving our clients an end to end service to support them with their business development of any size through the UK and our client base is focused on independent owners.”
Andrew continued: “The Council acts on behalf of the Association and its members, establishing policies and managing all affairs and activities. Through the sharing of information and an ongoing commitment to supporting its members, the FRA helps farm retail enterprises achieve high standards throughout all aspects of their business. I’d encourage all new and existing farm shop owners to consider looking into the FRA.”
